We were told by two companies that we needed to replace our HVAC system because there was a refrigerant leak that could not be found without draining the system. Chris was one of the people we called to get a bid but when he arrived he asked if we wanted him to do a diagnostic test. It was under $100 to do it and we found it our leak was caused by two simple to repair parts, Chris replaced them and also did a couple of other things on the equipment. We now think we can use this machine for another few years, maybe more, He's a very honest businessman and a competent diagnostician and repair person, We spent ~$500 instead of having to replace the system. "Our AC went out on Saturday. Unfortunately, it’s the crazy busy season for AC folks. We finally got hold of a company that came out Sunday and provided some outrageous quotes to get it fixed. We looked around and found another guy who came out Monday, replaced a fuse and got it running. However, it was short lived. It stopped working about 1 hour later. We called the guy back, and was told the motor needed to be replaced. But he’s so booked and won't be able to get to us till sometime next week. Now we are back to square one. During our search, Diamondback’s name kept showing up and we saw it had great reviews. We got hold of Chris Monday night around 10 pm, and he came out first thing Tuesday morning. We have a very old unit and the motor is not standard like others. Chris had to run to the store a couple times to get the right motor and mounting bracket. He got this old unit running again. He also checked our other unit to make sure it’s working properly. Chris is very knowledgeable, polite and professional. He gave us some really good advice on how to run the unit more efficiently to make it last longer. He saved us the day. We could not be happier with him. He’s our AC guy moving forward. If anyone needs an AC guy, give Chris a call, you won’t be disappointed."
